United States Army 117th Military Police Battalion Unit Crest (Our History, Our Strength)

Criteria: This is the unit crest of the 117th Military Police Battalion, which is part of the Tennessee Army National Guard. The unit's motto, "Our History, Our Strength," is written across the bottom of the design. The yellow and green colors of the shield as well as the pistol are symbolic of the Military Police Corps. The two blue fleur-de-lis commemorate the unit's service in Europe during World War I and World War II. This item is also called distinctive unit insignia and is worn on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform.
