Shiny silver blazer from issey miyake men (winter 1996). The fabric (made from polyester) is really unusual, weighty but smooth, and with a texture a bit similar to tweed except made from smooth poylester fibers rather than coarse woolen ones. Styling is traditional for a casual blazer: notch lapels, three button front, horizontal welt pocket at the breast with flap pockets at the waist.

Decent condition, with some wear: the poly fibers are starting to unravel in several places (see pictures 10-11). Hard to explain (and show in pictures), but feels to me like the weave is starting to come undone in places due to using slippery polyester yarns to produce a woven fabric of this kind. Mostly happening near seams and edges, blazer remains very wearable.
